Introduction
This is a community website for the village of St.Dennis in Cornwall. Herein lies a wealth of information about the village today and also days gone by.
Information about many of the organisations in the village can be found in the community directory. Links to business and organisation websites is included along with their contact details. Contributions are welcome from anyone who has information or photographs relating to the village that might be of interest.

The link above is to a diagram, with a black border and a light yellow centre, showing the footprint of the proposed enlarged Trelavour Pit. Extending out from the pit footprint is a series of blue and red lines. The first blue line out indicates a distance or 100 metres from the pit perimeter. Each of the other red and blue lines are spaced at a 100 metre distance apart.
Methodology :- The footprint of the proposed enlarged pit was traced from a Cornish Lithium document using Adobe Illustrator and overlayed onto a detailed map of the area. The perimeter of the pit footprint was then offset and repeated in Adobe Illustrator by a distance representing 100 metres. The nature of the software is such that each offset line slightly simplifies the original footprint perimeter in an attempt to maintain the 100 metre spacing.

"A Century of Remembrance"

Over the past two years Tim has been updating his "Who Cares" bookabout the men whose names appear on the St.Dennis War Memorial. Tim has re-titled his book "A Century of Remembrance" to coincide with
the centenary of the unveiling of the war memorial. With 149 pages and many photographs this is an excellent historical record for the village.
