St.Dennis Village Walk No.3 - Enniscaven and Gothers
For this walk allow 2 hours. This is a circular walk of 3.8 miles. This summary commences the walk at Trelavour Square. Proceed up the footpath beside the Commercial Inn and take the first left along a short lane to Carne Hill. Walk up the hill and at the top cross Hall Road and walk up Church Road. Before reaching the church turn right down Steep Carne. At the bottom of the hill bear left and descend further to the tee junction. Turn right and stay on this road until reaching the grass triangle at Enniscaven. Turn right and proceed along this road eventually ascending Gothers Hill. At the top of the hill is another grass triangle. Follow the road to the right passing a Victorian post box on the left. As you pass the entrance to Roseveare Residential Park entrance on the left continue down and through a series of bends passing a lorry depot on the right. Continue ascending the hill until reaching Trelavour Downs. Please note the panoramic views towards St.Denys Parish Church and beyond. At Trelavour Downs take the first right turn and descend Trelavour Road. At the junction continue forward to Trelavour Square.
