St Dennis has had a carnival for over thirty years but sadly, in 2010 it was cancelled due to the retirement of the long serving committee.
Public meetings were called for and a new committee was formed and the carnival restarted in 2011.
The new carnival committee is an independent organization and all funds raised are reinvested in the carnival programme.
The carnival takes place during the second week of July and events are staged every evening, culminating in the Grand Parade on the last Saturday.
